About
AI should understand people.
We're building it that way.
The mission
Most AI is built on a model of humans that cognitive science has been disproving for fifty years. The model says: people are rational agents who occasionally experience emotions. The reality is the opposite — we are emotional beings who happen to be able to reason. Build AI on the wrong model, and you get AI that is technically impressive but always slightly wrong.
The Humanized AI exists to do this differently. We research, write, and build around a single conviction: the most important frontier in AI is not capability — it's understanding. Understanding of emotion, of context, of the specific human on the other side of the interface.
The studio
The Humanized AI is the umbrella under which we build. Every product that comes out of here shares the same foundation: rigorous thinking about human psychology, applied to real AI systems that people actually use.
Neuromarketing analysis platform. Uses computer vision and AI to evaluate how creative content — images, videos, campaigns — lands emotionally, and whether those emotional responses translate to the behaviors brands care about. The insight: most content optimization happens at the rational layer while ignoring the emotional layer that determines whether people engage at all.
nodymic.com →We're building AI that knows individuals — not demographics, not personas. AI that accumulates real understanding of the person it's talking to, and gets more useful the more you use it. These are early days. The essays here are where the thinking happens before the building does.
The essays
This publication is where the thinking happens out loud. Every essay is written from inside the problem — not commentary from the outside, but the actual questions we're working through while building. When we write about emotional prediction in AI, it's because we're building it and hitting the hard parts. When we write about what it means for AI to know someone, it's because we're trying to figure out how to actually do it.
If you're building in this space, doing research, or just thinking carefully about where AI and human intelligence intersect — this is written for you.
The founder
Álvaro Martínez. I started The Humanized AI because I kept having the same conversation — explaining that the most interesting problem in AI isn't making it faster or cheaper, it's making it actually understand the person it's talking to. These essays are my attempt to think that through in public.
